About me

Assalamu Alaikum, I’m Waliur Rahman. I discovered my passion for travel and helping travelers in 2018. Since then, I’ve traveled to a few destinations across India and Saudi Arabia for Umrah and personal visits.

I’m not a full-time travel blogger, and I may not become a full-time traveler in the near future either. But The Muslim Traveler is something I’ve started to support Muslim travelers by sharing quality content and helpful resources.

The Muslim Traveler now serves as my personal and travel blog. I write content to inspire Muslims towards positivity and to help build a strong, faith-based personality. My writing mostly focuses on Islam & Muslims, Lifestyle & Wellness, People & Places, and Books & Writing.

More about me: I love reading books and mostly read and recommend works by Muslim authors. I enjoy playing volleyball and love adventure activities such as bike riding, hiking mountains, and more!
